With a new season set to begin imminently, Lionel Messi has adopted a fresh new look to go with it.

Indeed, as debuted on Instagram by his longtime partner, Antonella Roccuzzo, Messi has taken the plunge and opted to join the growing legion of footballers who are favouring a return to the metallic peroxide look.

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has said he has "no reason to leave" but wants to see what signings the club are able to make in the summer.
