Man United fan Usain Bolt still waiting for Jose Mourinho to offer him a deal
Usain Bolt is jokingly awaiting a call from Jose Mourinho to finally give him a chance at Man United.
New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has Usain Bolt's approval, though the Jamaican sprinter is still waiting for his own contract at Old Trafford.
Bolt has six Olympic gold medals but said he is expecting his phone to ring after the Rio Games.
"I haven't got the call yet, but I know it's coming. I think he's waiting until after the Olympics," Bolt said.
The 29-year-old also said he believes Mourinho can restore United's former glory.
"For me I'm happy," Bold said. "I think it was a good choice, Mourinho is a winner, he works hard to win titles and that's what Manchester United need right now.
"He's building a squad and I'm looking forward to seeing much bigger players, so I'm excited about that."
Asked about England's search for a new manager, Bolt also joked about the country's recent misfortunes on the international stage.
"I always say that, you guys are pretty much the biggest league in the world, the best footballers, but no titles," he added. "It's really sad."
